Bill Speare was born in Billings, Montana, in 1969.  He received his B.A. degree in Political Science with high honors from Montana State University, Bozeman, in 1991.  He received his J.D. with honors from the University of Montana School of Law in 1994.  Following law school, Bill served as a law clerk to clerk for two Justices of the Montana Supreme Court for a year.

     In 1995, Bill entered private practice in Billings. He has extensive experience in civil litigation, real estate, commercial litigation, contracts, and estate work.

     Bill keeps involved with the Billings community, and served on the board of the Billings Studio Theatre from 2000- 2006. His wife, Lisa, also practices law in Billings and when not helping Lisa chase after their two young daughters, Julie and Mary, Bill enjoys golfing and hiking.
